At Corrdex ("we", "us", or "our"), your privacy and the security of your codebase are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Corrdex service and website.

1. We Do Not Store Your Source Code

Corrdex does NOT store your source code. Our systems exclusively process and store structural, indexed data representing your architecture (such as file paths, import graphs, and dependency maps).

When our analysis runs, it extracts metadata required to build the architectural map and evaluate drift rules. The raw source code text itself is never saved to our databases, ensuring that your proprietary logic remains strictly on your own infrastructure or CI runners.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: We collect basic information such as your name, email address, and authentication tokens (e.g., via GitHub/GitLab OAuth) necessary to provide you access to the service.
  • Indexed Architectural Data: We collect and store metadata, dependency graphs, file paths, and structural rules to generate your architecture visualizations and enforce boundaries.
  • Payment Information: Our order process is conducted by our Merchant of Record. The Merchant of Record handles payment processing, billing operations, and formal refund handling. Corrdex does not directly collect, process, or store your credit card or payment data.
  • Usage Metrics: We collect anonymized telemetry on how you interact with the Corrdex dashboard to help us improve the user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Corrdex service.
  • Process transactions via our Merchant of Record.
  • Send critical service updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with specific third-party services to deliver Corrdex functionality. Our Merchant of Record supports subscription management and billing. We may also share minimal data with cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Vercel) strictly for the purpose of operating the application. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
